SFO_HeadShotC_600Stacey Ford Osborne is a business development and communications professional who, for the past four years, has been deeply entrenched in the Economic Development scene in the state of Texas, first as the Economic Developer for the City of La Porte, and more recently as an economic development consultant in the North Houston region. She has experience working with numerous local, regional and state incentive programs, and has worked closely with both the public and private sectors to help grow and develop business at multiple levels.

Stacey has earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Brigham Young University and a Master’s in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at El Paso. She also has a broad background in marketing and communications that has proven to be a valuable asset when working to attract businesses to a particular community. In addition to economic development, Stacey’s experience includes working in the advertising, public radio, web design, tourism and continuing education industries. She has also provided communications and public relations services for a variety of clients in the education, marketing, retail, media and publishing sectors.

Stacey served as the volunteer host of the weekly radio program “State of the Arts” on KTEP from 1999 – 2007. In 2010 she was nominated for a Lone Star Emmy Award for her work in the video “Tell Us Your Story,” which chronicled the history of the City of La Porte from the point of view of the local residents. She currently lives in Huntsville, Texas with her husband, Jamey.
